Student Competitions
AALA student competitions are conducted annually at the symposium.
The AALA Quiz Bowl/Trivia Contest is an opportunity for students at the annual symposium to demonstrate their knowledge of topics relevant to agricultural law and the law in general, as well as the agricultural industry and agricultural policy. Contestants will compete in either a quiz show or trivia contest format.
The AALA Law Student Paper-Writing Contest. The goal of the paper-writing contest is to encourage law students to become involved in the American Agricultural Law Association (AALA) and to encourage scholarship and learning in the diverse field of agricultural law. Each entrant must follow the rules of the competition detailed herein. Awards will be given to top winners. The 2026 timeline and guidelines will be released mid-Spring 2026.
