Student Competitions
The AALA Quiz Bowl/Trivia Competition is an opportunity for students at the annual symposium to demonstrate their knowledge of topics relevant to agricultural law and the law in general, as well as the agricultural industry and agricultural policy. Contestants will compete in either a quiz show or trivia contest format.
The AALA Legal Issues Student Writing Competition. The goal of the student writing competition is to encourage law students to become involved in the American Agricultural Law Association (AALA) and to encourage research and academic inquiry in the diverse field of agricultural law. Awards will be given to the top three submissions.
The 2026 competition timeline is as follows:
- Submissions open: June 5
- Deadline to submit: August 14
- Winners notified: September 25
- Winners recognized at the Symposium: November 7
